William's Obituary

William Rae “Bill” Hobbs, III, 24, of St. Joseph, passed away, Monday, December 17, 2012 unexpectedly at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Red., St. Joseph, with Rev. Corey Kugle officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Those wishing to sign Bill’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Bill was born June 11, 1988 in Berrien Center to William R. & Brenda (Dennison) Hobbs, II. He graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 2006. On April 25, 2012 he married the former Shannon Allred in St. Joseph. Bill was self-employed in construction and maintenance, and formerly worked for Bob Dennison Home Improvements in St. Joseph. Bill was an avid fan of U of M Football, and cherished the time he spent with his wife and children. Bill is survived by his wife Shannon; three sons- William IV, Benjamin, & Xavier Hobbs; his parents William & Brenda of St. Joseph; his siblings-Corey (Melissa Duncan) Hobbs of Michigan City, IN, Brandon (Sonya Sallak) Hobbs of Fort Collins, CO, Ashley (Todd) Muday of St. Joseph, Hydi Hobbs of St. Joseph; Shannon’s parents-Charles & Tammy Allred of Covert; his maternal grandparents Robert & Nina Dennison of St. Joseph; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews; and a life-long friend Katelyn Woodford of St. Joseph.
