Sandy was born April 8, 1941 in Benton Harbor to Russell & Mary (Grassman) Alexander. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1959. He joined his father in the family business, Business Management Service, then in Benton Harbor, later moving to St. Joseph. He became the sole owner in 1968. His practice was sold to Wilber & Townshend, P.C. in 2011 where he continued employment with the company through the transition. Sandy truly loved his work. On May 16, 1964, he married the former Sharon “Sherri” Burke in South Bend, Indiana. Sherri was the love of his life. He devoted his life to her and their family. Sandy’s other love in life was golf. When not working, you would find him on the golf course at Berrien Hills or any other local course, or traveling to Naples or Hilton Head when the local weather did not permit “playing a round”. He will be truly missed by his family, his many friends, and his golf buddies.
Sandy is survived by his wife Sherri; two daughters-Kathy Kessman of Clarkston, MI, Trish (Mike) Moore of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren-Nicki & Alex Kessman, Mitchell & Nolan Moore; two sisters-Mary Lou (Terry) Huet of Seattle, WA, Sally (Charles) Ingle of Springfield, OH; his brother-in-law Mike Burke of Queens Village, NY; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Ron Alexander in July 1966.
