Margaret's Obituary

Margaret Rosenthal, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully in her home, Thursday November 29, 2012. A Celebration of Life Eternal will be Monday 10:00A.M at Trinity Lutheran, 613 Court St., St. Joseph, with Pastor Thomas Batsky officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Weesaw Township Cemetery, Glendora. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to sign Margaret’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Margaret was born May 26, 1923, in Kalamazoo to Marines & Wilhelmena (Stubelt) Verburg. On December 9, 1969, she married Henry Rosenthal, who precedes her, at Grace Lutheran in St. Joseph. Margaret was in the sewing industry, and worked for Simplicity for twenty years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and bird watching. Margaret was an active member of Trinity Lutheran, and participated in Ladies Aid, a lunch program, and a sewing group that provided world relief. She is survived by her children Charles (Celina Liu) Bevelhymer of St. Joseph, Mich., Alice (Rick) Stilwell of Cleveland, Georgia, and Virginia (Mike) Trulove of Stevensville Mich., nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Henry.
