Randy Demler

Randy G. Demler, 59, of St. Joseph, passed away December 4, 2012 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph. Visitation will be 5-8 Friday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. in St. Joseph. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 Saturday at Starks & Menchinger with Reverend Franz Brandenburg of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1971. He retired from Fiskars after many years as a mason. He was a member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 9. Randy married Anita Smith on July 2, 2011. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his family and friends. Randy is survived by his wife Anita, her children, Brian Smith of Stevensville, Angela (Brent) Carmen of Az., Brad (Kate) Smith of St. Joseph, his daughter Gina (Rob) Burkhard, grandchildren Natalie and Anthony Burkhard and Adeline Smith, and the anticipated arrival of baby Evelyn, brothers Perry (Cathy) Demler of Branch, MI., and Loren (Marsha) Demler of Baroda, many nieces and nephews, and longtime friends Mark and Karen Zitta. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Keith.
