Laurel Lee Jordan

Laurel Lee Jordan, 68, of Bridgman, went to meet her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Private graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may call from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. She graduated from St. Joseph High School and Twin City Beauty College. On July 3, 1965 she married Roger Jordan in St. Joseph. Laurel devoted her life to caring for her family, most recently her grandchildren. She attended every school, church or sports function she could, cheering them on along the way. She was a member of the First Church of God in St. Joseph where she volunteered in the nursery, the Pastoral Care Program and various other activities. Laurel enjoyed yard sales, quilting, and most of all her family time. Laurel is survived by her husband Roger, Sr.; her children-Roger (Francine) Jordan, Jr. of Coloma, Dawn Jordan of Laguna Beach, CA; two grandchildren-Faith & Noah Jordan of Coloma; her sister Candace (James) Kollath of Bridgman; her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law-Louise Lausman of Stevensville, Kenneth (Judy) Jordan of Hartford, Shirley (Larry) Anchor of Hartford, Thomas (Lois) Jordan of Coloma, Larry Rinehart of Mattawan, William (Darlene) Jordan of Hartford, Betty Jordan of Dowagiac; numerous nieces & nephews; and her four grand-dogs-Riley, Lefty, Tripper & Keiki. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-Theodore & Craig Lausman, and a sister-in-law Pat Rinehart.
