Ronald Frederick Romelhardt, 64 of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, November 13th at his home. Ronald was born February 21st, 1948 to Mr. and Mrs. William and Dorothy (VanDenBosch) Romelhardt. Ronald graduated from Ann Arbor High School (’66) and Michigan State University (’70). Ronald was a member of Local 190 serving mainly at the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant. He served as a Leader for Boy Scout Troop 603 at Stevensville United Methodist Church and is a Past Grand Master of the St. Joseph Masonic Lodge #437. Ronald is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue; two sons, Andrew (Kristin) Romelhardt of Hillsboro, OR and Jacob Romelhardt of Virginia Beach, VA; his mother Dorothy Romelhardt of Ann Arbor, MI; his two brothers Larry (Dawn) Romelhardt of Portage, MI; Mike (Kristin) Romelhardt of Dexter, MI; and sister in law Roxanne Romelhardt of St. Joseph. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, William. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21st from 2-4pm at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road in St. Joseph. Masonic Rites and a Celebration of Life ceremony will follow at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald Romelhardt Foundation for the Children of Battered Women or the Berrien County Boy Scouts Summer Camp fund both thru the St. Joseph Masonic Lodge #437.
