Robert Radde

Robert “Bob” Radde, 76, of St Joseph, passed away December 20, 2012 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Market St., St. Joseph with Pastor Michael Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Bob was born October 13, 1936 in St. Joseph, MI to Arthur & Anna (Knuth) Radde. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1954. He served his country in the United States Army from 1955 until 1958. On May 27, 1967 he married Joan Romszewicz in St. Joseph. Bob work for Clark Equipment as a supervisor for many years. He also worked for Leco Corporation and the Cook Nuclear Plant. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, going to St. Joe sporting events and was an avid University of Michigan fan. Bob is survived by his wife Joan Radde of St. Joseph; sons Brian (Theresa) Radde of South Lyon, MI, and Darrin Radde of Pinckney, MI; four grandchildren Davis, Kylie, Leah, and Danielle Radde; sister Phyllis Thumm of St. Joseph; sister-in-law Donna Radde of St. Joseph; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ray Radde, and sisters Eunice and Gloria Radde.
