Olga's Obituary
Olga Rose Spitzer Williamson, 96, of Stevensville, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Serenity Shore Assisted Living in Stevensville, Michigan.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held at 11am Monday, December 3rd, 2012 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers, Stevensville, Michigan with Pastor Schroer officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Friends may visit from 10 am until 11am at the church, an hour before service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Those wishing to sign Olga’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Olga was born July 12th, 1916 in St. Joseph to Rudolph and Rose (Gast) Kelm. Olga graduated from St. Joseph High School and also attended Lake Michigan College. She met and fell in love with Lyle Spitzer and they married on September 4th, 1937. Olga was an LPN for Memorial Hospital in St. Joseph and she and Lyle owned and operated a grocery in downtown Bridgman for many years until Lyle passed. Olga later met and married Gene Williamson. Olga always enjoyed playing cards, reading, and going out to lunch.
Olga was a fun Aunt and a great sister.
Olga is survived by her sister Esther (Kelm) Schulz of St. Joseph and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Gail Spitzer; her brother Herbert Kelm and sisters Charlotte Hendrix and Florine Mischke.
