Levi served his country for four years in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954. In 1957 he married the love of this life, Dorothy Sill, on October 5. They spent 53 wonderful years of marriage together. Levi served as a police officer for Lincoln Township in the late 60’s & early 70’s and retired in 1986 from Bendix Corp. after 30 years of employment. Since 2001 he was employed part time by Pri-Mar Petroleum as a courier. He delivered supplies and paychecks to the 13 stores. He joked that he was the most loved man who worked there as he delivered the money. Running his route was the highlight of his week. He couldn’t wait to get to the Pri-Mar office so he could torment, joke and pick on everyone there. Levi loved helping & hanging out with his long-time friend Brad Piedt from Piedt & Son. He loved talking to people.
Since the loss of his wife in 2010, Levi spent the winters in Arizona with his two sons. He would joke that his boys shared custody of him. Levi was known for his sense of humor. He loved practical jokes. The more he tormented you, the more he loved you. He so enjoyed tormenting and embarrassing his grandchildren. Above all, Levi had a heart of gold. He was an honest and honorable man.
Levi loved dearly his large family, his 2 sons Edward (Tina) Soulliere of San Tan Valley, AZ, Phillip (Sharon) Soulliere of Ora Valley; AZ, 2 daughters Kathleen (Chuck) Soulliere of Sodus, Juliann Motry of Stevensville; 13 grandchildren-Nick, Matt, Paris, Robert, Brittany, Phil, Nikki, Chris, Kayla (Brad), Laken (Kody), Amber (Billy) Courtney (Gary) & Brittany; 15 great grandchildren-Phil, Frank, Jesse, Teresa, Kenny, Jeannie, Levi, Kira, Kasen, Kole, Hailey, Hannah, Lexi, Colton & Corbin; his brother Ned (Cindy) Soulliere; and 3 sisters- Amy Stickney, Florence Bosley, and Phyllis (Robert) Rimes. He was preceded in death by his father Ned Soulliere, his brother Phillip Parrott, and his beloved wife Dorothy on April 9, 2010.
