Evelyn Marie Buller

Evelyn Marie Buller, 91, of St. Joseph, Michigan, passed away November 7, 2012 at the Willows Assisted Living in St. Joseph, Michigan. A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, November 12 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with the Reverend Richard Sing officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Evelyn was born at home in St. Joseph on August 16, 1921, to Emma and Clarence Jensen. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1939. Following graduation Evelyn attended Benton Harbor Business College. She married Abner Gordon Buller June 21, 1941. She worked at Remington Rand and Cooper Wells after she was married. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen and was the Blossomtime Princess when she was eight years old. Evelyn was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching sports on T.V. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Abner. Evelyn is survived by her son, Terry (Mary) Buller of Louisville, Kentucky; daughter, Karen (John) Burlington of Coloma; and seven grandchildren, Kimberly (Burlington) McQueen, Karrie Anne (Burlington) Parrett, Jonelle (Burlington) Shiel, Branden Buller, Justin Buller, Lauren Buller, and Darcie Buller; and six great grandchildren, Olivia, Kaleb, Seth, Jack, Kole and Chloe.
