Kevin Michael Cannon, 60, of Stevensville passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Mich. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11 A.M Thursday at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 Shawnee Rd., Bridgman, with Rev. John Bedford officiating. Kevin was born May 25, 1952 to Gerard & Jean (Smullen) Cannon in Queens, N.Y. He was employed as a Caregiver for Staten Island Developmental Disabilities Service Office for many years. On February 16, 2005, he married Jennette (Franke) at Woodland Shores Baptist Church in Bridgman, Mich. Kevin served in the Navy, was a member of Lake Michigan Landsharks Parrot Head Club, and attended Woodland Shores Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading books and watching movies. He will be remembered for his famous gumbo and “Kevinisms.” Kevin is survived by his wife Jennette, his sister Monica (Joe) Ennis of Staten Island, N.Y.; N.Y.; his three nieces, Kerrie (Robert) Verticchio of Staten Island N.Y.; Maureen (Dennis) Mooney of Staten Island N.Y.; and Christine (Christopher) Hanson of Staten Island, N.Y.; his great nieces and nephews, Daniel Verticchio, Julie Mooney, James Mooney, and Keira Hanson all of Staten Island, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents.
