Peggy Ann Davis, 55, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at The Hospice House at Rush University in Chicago.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 19, 2012 at First Assembly of God, 3084 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the church. Friends may also visit from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Peggy “Mimi” Davis Grandkids Scholarship Fund at United Federal Credit Union in care of Marlon Davis. Peggy was born September 19, 1957 in St. Ignace, MI to Harry & Marilyn (Gillem) Sundman. On March 5, 1976 she married Marlon Davis in Escanaba, MI. Peggy worked for Wolverine Mutual Insurance as a clerk for over 30 years. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, singing, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Peggy is survived by her husband Marlon Davis of St. Joseph; daughters Jessica (Jim) Trumbley of St. Joseph and Marla Davis of St. Joseph; three grandchildren, Cooper and Reagan Trumbley and Rylee Davis; parents Harry & Marilyn Sundman of Sodus; two sisters Sue (Keith) Schuemann of St. Joseph and Sharon (John) Hammons of Portage; two brothers Michael (Beth) Sundman of Mt. Morris, IL, and Joel Sundman of Kalamazoo; sister-in-law Angel Sundman of Dowagiac; and many nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her brother David Sundman.
