Patricia Pschigoda Shea, 80, of Sodus, passed away, Saturday, September 08, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery, Stevensville. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Pat was born August 7, 1932 in St. Joseph to William & Emma “Betty” (Schultz) Pschigoda. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1950. Pat was employed at the former Sand Rabbit Motel in Benton Harbor, and more recently owned & operated Personal Touch Cleaning, retiring after twenty years. Pat was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, and a former member of the Benton Harbor Moose Lodge where she served as a Senior Regent. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her roses in her gardens, caring for her cats-Nikki & Winkie, walking, and talking to her family and many friends. Pat is survived by her children-Glenn James of Sodus, Michael (Glenna) Shea, Sr. of Benton Harbor, Kimberly Reichert of Glendale, AZ; her adopted son Joseph Curtis of Berrien Springs; six grandchildren-Angel Gabbert, Stacey Ragsdale, Megan Shea, Michael Shea, Jr., Brent & Dylan Reichert; seven great-granchildren-Samantha Gabbert, Johnny Cleary, Jr., Zachary Timmons, Brendan Ragsdale, Raymond Cleary, Amayia Shoemaker & Dillon Gabbert; and several nieces & nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husbands-Milton James & William Shea, by her son Gary James in 1981, and by three brothers & a sister-Marvin, Melvin, Myron & Blossom Pschigoda.
