Randall Yeske

Randall (Randy) Leslie Yeske, age 63, of Benton Harbor, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at her home following a lingering illness while waiting for a heart transplant. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, officiated by Rev. Mike Schoeplein. Burial will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Stevensville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 21, at the funeral home. Randy was born on April 8, 1949 in St. Joseph to Russell and Marion (Kasischke) Zick and Marion later married Kent H. Hughes in St. Joseph. Randy married Rolland (Rollie) Carl Yeske, July 7, 1982. Randy had been a special needs school teacher in the Lakeshore School District for 30 years. She enjoyed collecting antiques and attending swap meets with her husband. She also enjoyed cooking, family and treasured the times spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Rollie of Benton Harbor, 2 daughters, Kimberly (Justin) Hopkins of Benton Harbor; Kristine (BradWright) Yeske of Riverside, MI); 3 grandchildren; Jace and Zane Hopkins and Brayden Wright; mother, Marion Hughes of St. Joseph; brother, Russell (Autmn) Zick of St. Joseph; and her sister, Karen Zick of Fremont; her nieces, Andrea and Erica Zick, along with many other nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by her father Russell Zick; step-father Kent Hughes; and by her mother-in-law Dora Yeske.
