Sandra Soule

Sandi Soule, 62, of St. Joseph passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 after a courageous 11 year battle with cancer. She died at home surrounded by her loving family. Sandi was born March 29, 1950 in Conneaut, OH, to George Legeza & Joann Golden and was adopted and raised by Fred and Gladys Golden. She graduated from Bellevue High School in Ohio. Sandi was employed with AEP at D.C. Cook. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, traveling, and antiquing. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends and always caring for others. She was best known for her compassion and contagious laughter. Mama Soule touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Sandi is survived by her children Ryan (Katie) Soule of Kalamazoo, MI, Aaron (Kristina) Soule of St. Joseph, MI, Kendra Soule (John Paul Schultz) of Kingston, NY, and Judson Soule (Melissa Bulliss) of St. Joseph, MI; seven grandchildren Jacob, Elliot, Spencer, Lillian, Mason, Georgia, and Kala; and many brothers and sisters. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Riverview Park Christian Church, 2929 Niles Rd., with Pastor David Stout officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autism Speaks or Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University in Sandi’s name.
