Phyllis's Obituary
Phyllis Ann (Besch) Rueske, 83, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.
Phyllis was born March 29, 1929, in Benton Harbor, MI, to Raymond and Edith (Ward) Besch. She resided in St. Joseph the majority of her life. She was a woman who wanted little and gave much. Phyllis cherished gatherings with her family. She also enjoyed attending local musical performances and sporting events of her grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by sons Lee (Nancy) Bruneel of Jackson, MI, Phillip (Barb) Bruneel of Roswell, GA, Rick Rueske of St. Joseph, and daughters, Penny (Percy) Montgomery and Christine (Mike) Spear, both of Stevensville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Rueske in 1962 and by a son Dean Rueske in 2003.
A celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 920 Price Street, St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 2:00-4:00 PM. A private family service will follow.
