Philip Robert Reifschneider

Philip Robert Reifschneider, 53, of Coloma, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. Philip was born on September 5, 1958 in Benton Harbor, MI to Thelma (Stromberg) and Robert Reifschneider. He was formerly employed at Ridge and Kramer Auto Parts, and also worked in construction. Philip was a member of Saron Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Joseph. He enjoyed deer hunting with family, fishing, swimming, and water skiing. Philip is survived by his mother, Thelma Reifschneider, sisters, Suellen (James) Mischke and Linda (Bruce) Huff all of St. Joseph, several nieces and nephews, a companion, Barbara McCarver, and his dog “J.J.” He was preceded in death by his father. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Saron Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Joseph, officiated by Rev. Joan Oleson.
