Wencil Dill

Wencil Dill, 81, of Coloma, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at her home. Remembrance of Her Life will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Napier Parkview Baptist Church, 245 W. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor with Pastor John Hosler officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators. Those wishing to share a memory of Wencil may do so on-line at www.starks-menchinger.com. Wencil was born October 13, 1930 in Searcy, Arkansas to Allie & Velma (Barber) Page. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School and Western Michigan University. On August 29, 1953 she married Alfred Dill in Benton Harbor, MI. Wencil worked for Watervliet North Elementary School for 12 years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Wencil is survived by her husband Alfred Dill of Coloma; daughter Diane (Ray) Bush of Coloma, MI; two grandchildren Christopher Kelly and Shayha Johnson; 10 great grandchildren; brother Jack Page of Watervliet, MI. Wencil was preceded in death by her parents and son Allen Dill.
