Nancy Ann Schroeder

Nancy A. Schroeder, 75, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Rd., in Stevensville with pastor Jonathan Kruschel officiating. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to Michigan Lutheran High School. She graduated from Prospect High School in Tennessee. On December 22, 1955 she married Charles Schroeder. Nancy worked as a Nanny. She also worked for Berrien Hills and the Benton Harbor Library for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her children Cindy (Donald) Lausman of Stafford, VA, Van (Laura) Schroeder of Zeeland, MI, Tim Schroeder of Chicago, IL and Bill (Jan) Schroeder of Delphi, IN; grandchildren Sarah (Jason) Peterson, Megan Lausman, Christa Lausman, Erin Schroeder, Nathan Schroeder, Jeremy (Lynn) Schroeder and Teri Schroeder; five great grandchildren; sister Betty Pack of Ardmore, AL; brother Jimmy Randolph of Ardmore, AL. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Margaret, Joe, Bill and Ralph.
