Martha Mathewson

Martha Mathewson, 86, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00A.M., Monday, February 27, 2012, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI., officiated by Pastor Doug Hoyh of the First Assembly of God Church, St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 4-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. On May 5, 1951, in Benton Harbor, she married Lemoine Mathewson, who preceded her in death. Martha is survived by her children, Roger Mathewson of Janesville, WI, Rodney (Diana) Mathewson of Elkhart, IN, Joy (Robert) Langfeldt, Bridgman, MI, grandchildren, Jaime Wilfong, Ashley Dunovant, Sara Mathewson, Scott Mathewson, Taylor Mathewson, Riley Mathewson, great-grandchildren, Chase Wilfong, Tyse Wilfong, and Anya Dunovant. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lemoine, and three brothers and three sisters.
