Frank F. Lahr, 90, of Holland, formally of Stevensville passed away March 19, 2012 in Holland.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, officiated by Mgs. Eugene Sears with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Frank was born on August 17, 1921 in Benton Harbor to Nicholas & Gladys (Lindsley) Lahr. On April 15, 1950 he married Charlotte Dickson at St. John’s Catholic Church in Benton Harbor. Frank served his country in the United Stated Marine Corps in the UDT (Underwater Demolition Team 3, which was the precursor of SEALS established by President Kennedy in 1962); retiring as a Captain. Frank was employed as a stock broker at First of Michigan for many years. He was a past board member of the St. Joseph River Yacht Club, Sarrett Nature Center, The Economic Club, founding member of Grand Mere Assoc., Rotary Club of St. Joseph – Benton Harbor and a Paul Harris Fellow.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte of Holland; a son Nicholas (Kim) Lahr of Southaven, MS; daughter Suzanne Lahr of Stevensville a grandchildren John and Charlotte Ann; a sister Gloria Compione, Palos Park, IL.
