Dorothy's Obituary
Dorothy Mae Linstead, 93, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, February 23, at Lakeland Continuing Care Center in St. Joseph.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Animal Aide. Dorothy was born March 28, 1918 in Chicago to Horace & Gertrude (Johnson) Manley. She married Mayland Linstead, and he preceded her on December 8, 1975. Dorothy enjoyed tending to her lawn and garden, sewing and animals.
Dorothy is survived by three brothers-Dean (Janet) Manley of Hilo, HI, Dennis (Lois) Manley of Tuscon, AZ, David Manley of Benton Harbor; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers-Donald, Duane & Joseph Manley.
