Louis's Obituary
Louis B. Vogl, 81, of Stevensville passed away November 10, 2011 at home after, a long illness. He was born August 22, 1930 in Cudahy, WI. He was the son of Rose and Joseph Vogl who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children Debbie (Jim) Sweeten of Bentonville, AR, Larry Vogl of Big Lake, MN, Cindy Zuhl of Baroda, David (Martha) Vogl of Niles, and Louie (Christina) Jr. Vogl of Stevensville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Vogl and daughter Susan Vogl.
Louis was a Korean War Veteran, and the founder off Tech Nickel, Inc. in Benton Harbor. He was the president of the Korean War Veterans organizations and the Misfits singing group. He was also a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Fr. James Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 11:30 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
