Danneffel Dan Lyman

Lyman “Dan” Danneffel, 82, of Watervliet, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Marlo Fritzke officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by North Berrien Military Rites Team. Dan as he was known, was born on March 8, 1929 to the late Lyman and Jessiebell (Kuse) Danneffel in Benton Harbor. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a salesman for Quality Packaging for many years. Upon retiring he drove limo for Advanced Limo. Dan was a member of the of St.Joseph-Benton Harbor Elks Lodge #541 Dan is survived by many loving family members.
