Alice Mandarino

Alice Ann Mandarino, 90, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, August 1st, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, with her loving family at her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 5, 2011, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church 555 Delaware, Benton Harbor with Father Bill Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. August 5, 2011 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. On August 24, 1940, she married Sam Mandarino in Benton Harbor. Alice was a homemaker, and loved her family. She was the best mother and best grandmother anyone could have. Alice is survived by her children Don Mandarino of St. Joseph; Bonnie (Larry) Miller of St. Joseph; Janet (Don) Zwar of St. Joseph; Scott (Robin) Mandarino of St. Joseph; grandchildren Terri (Rick) Schlee, Mike Mandarino., Karen Mandarino, Steve (Sarah) Zwar, Mitch Mandarino, Zack Mandarino Great Grand Children Kali Schlee, Nick Schlee, Hunter and Preston Zwar, and Baby Abigail Mandarino, and many nieces and nephews.
