Betty J. Moore

Betty Moore, 53, of Benton Harbor, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. at the Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 787 Superior St., in Benton Harbor. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Moore family or The Tabernacle Church of God. She worked as a Nurses Assistant for The Willows. Betty loved the Lord and loved sharing the word of God. She enjoyed helping people and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Betty is survived by her children John McGee, Angel Moore, Charles Moore, and Diamond Moore; four grandchildren John McGee Jr., Noel Moore, Tawon Wright Jr., and Brooklynn McGee; sister Charlene Brown; brothers Henry McGee Jr., Edward McGee, and John Earl; Betty was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Johnita McGee and Johniqua McGee; sister Gloria Council; and grandmother Alice Slautter.
