George's Obituary
George T. Gaudio, Sr., 61, of Stevensville, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at his home.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday from 11:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial donations may be made to the Gaudio Family. Those wishing to sign George's Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
George was born November 13, 1949 in Chicago to Anthony & Alice (Cyphers) Gaudio. As a youth, he was involved with the Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
George served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from Topco as a telecommunications analyst. George loved his children and grandchildren and supported them in their sporting activities. He previously served as chairman for the Discover Stevensville Days.
George is survived by his four children-Michael (Brooke DeMarco) Gaudio of McHenry, IL, Natalie (Barry Fricano) Gaudio of Elgin, IL, Karen Gaudio married to Zachary Newberry of San Jose, CA, George Gaudio, Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI; seven grandchildren-Lindsey, Anthony, Fallyn, Brooklyn, Samuel, Madison, & Rochelle; his brother Frank (Linda) Gaudio of Arizona; and a cousin Jane Gaudio of Quebec.
