Mary Ann Hines

Mary Ann Hines, 73, of Stevensville, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 10, 2011, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to share a memory online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Mary Ann was born July 27, 1937 in Benton Harbor, MI, to Angelo & Lucille (Rodgers) Cozzolino. She worked for Heath/Zenith for many years. In 1953 she married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Douglas Hines Sr., in Benton Harbor. Mary Ann loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, crafts, boating and traveling. Mary Ann is survived by her children Cynthia (Brian) Bennett of Sawyer, MI, Laurie (Robert) Dietz of Stevensville, MI, Robert (Susan De Pelecyn) Hines, Jr. of Oak Creek, WI, Kelly Stroup of Lakeland, FL and Jeffrey (Amy) Hines of Niles, MI; grandchildren, Jonathan (Roxanne) Gothberg, Matthew (Heather) Gothberg, Gregory (Kelley) Gothberg, Jessica (Santiago) Belmontes, Michael Smith, Collin Stroup and Zachary and Natalie Hines; great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Gloria Belmontes, Emily, Logan, Kiaha, Penelope and Erick Gothberg and Lillianna Smith; brothers Enrico (Linda) Cozzolino of Niles, MI, Rocco (Arlene) Graziano of Stevensville, MI, and Michael (Ursula) Rodgers of Stevensville; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband on November 16, 2006.
