Arthur's Obituary
Arthur A. Raab, 88, of Benton Harbor died at his home on July 14, 2011.
Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00AM Monday at Good Evangelical Shepherd Lutheran, 1965 Broadway, Benton Harbor. A Celebration of his life will be Held at 11:00 AM Monday at the church; officiated by Rev. Paul S. Naumann; with burial to follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery. Art was born in Chicago, IL to Arthur & Selma (Huebner) Raad on July 11, 1923.
He graduated from Stevensville High School in 1941 and played on the state championship High School basketball team. He entered in the United States Army on January 22 1943 and served over in Europe and was discharged on March 2, 1946. After returning from the war he worked as a transport hauler for Theisen Clemens Oil Company.
He is survived by his cousin Gerald (Peggy) Huebner.
