Mildred Ann Thompson

Mildred Ann Thompson, 77, of Berrien Springs passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph officiated by Charles Bicy of New Jerusalem Church, Lansing, MI. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM just prior the service on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South West Michigan. She was a foster grandparent, loved dogs, drawing and collecting jewelry. Mildred is survived by her children, Tonya (Antoni) Doyle-Bicy, Shelly A. Doyle and Norman (Jeanie) Doyle all of Lansing, MI; Randy (Debra) Thompson of Hopewell, VA; Michael Smith of Pontiac, MI and Robert Thompson, Jr. of Benton Harbor, MI, a sister Barbara Block and a special friend Carl Rockwell, fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Ann.
