Victoria AuxTinee

Benton Harbor – Victoria V. AuxTinee passed away on June 10, 2011 at her home in Benton Harbor Mi. She was surrounded by her loving family, caring friends, and members of the extraordinary team from Lakeland Hospice. She will be greatly missed. Vikki was born in St. Louis Missouri in 1941. She had a love of antiquities and was the owner of The Antique Exchange in Millburg, where she bought, sold, and refinished antique furniture of all sorts. In 1997, she moved her store to her home where she continued her business. She had a unique way of making a complete stranger feel at home in her store, and very few customers ever left empty handed, or without a smile on their face. She loved her pets, Bug and KiKi, Mickey Mouse, and her collection of duck decoys. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene F. AuxTinee, and Mabel M. AuxTinee of St. Louis Mo. and a brother, Eugene P. AuxTinee of Benton Harbor. She leaves behind her brother, Michael J. AuxTinee of St. Louis. She was a loving aunt to her nephew, Eugene P. AuxTinee Jr., and her nieces, Michelle Allison of Houston, Suzanne Ritter of Benton Harbor, Ann Rivers of Longview Wa., and Jeanette Conklin of St. Joseph. She loved her many great nieces and nephews, Melissa Jordan, Caroline Allison, Kathryn Victoria Allison, William Allison IV, Aaron Edwards, Allison Kniebes, Rex and Derick Rivers, Lukas Visin, Caleb and Andy Conklin. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeland Hospice, or the Humane Society of Benton Harbor.
