David's Obituary
David A. Splese, 66, of St. Joseph, passed away at 10:25 AM, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
David was born July 29, 1944 in Benton Harbor to Amil & Eleanor (Fechner) Splese. He was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph High School and a 1969 graduate of Cranbrook Art Institute in Bloomfield Hills.
He is survived by his mother; one sister Linda Hazell; two nieces-Erin (Mark) Hampshire of Kalamazoo, Debra (Chris) Brock of Fort Mills, SC; a large extended family; and close friend, Alex.
Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or Lakeland Hospice. Cremation has taken place.
