Mary E. Jones

Mary E. Jones, 74, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 Lakeland Specialty Hospital, Berrien Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph with Pastor Wade Panse officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may visit from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Starks and Menchinger Chapel. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of St. Joseph. Those wishing to sign Mary's Memory Book may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Mary was born on July 27, 1936 in Chicago Illinois to Edward and Esther Goff (Haskins) Taylor. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1954, where she was a member of the All State Band. Mary retired from the Whirlpool Customer Experience Center of Benton Harbor as an Account Representative with 13 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of St. Joseph, and a member of the Daughters of America Revolution. Mary also enjoyed dancing, and photography. Mary is survived by her two sons-Jeffrey L. (Diane) Jones, and Jerold L. (Jeannine) Jones; three grandchildren Jessica Jones; Courtney Jones; and Brandon Jones. Mary was preceded in death by her two brothers-Tad and Paul Taylor.
