William Grace

William “Bill” Grace, 55, of St. Joseph passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 25, 2011 at St. Bernard Catholic Church 555 Delaware, Benton Harbor with Fr. William Jacobs Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Bill was born October 2, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI to Robert & Ruth (Sette) Grace. Bill graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1974 and then attended Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree. He also attended Indiana University where he received a Master's Degree in library Science and was currently working on an Accounting Degree from Lake Michigan College. Bill worked for Whirlpool Credit Union in data entry for 25 years. Bill was member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. In his spare time he enjoyed photography, traveling and the holidays. Bill is survived by his two brothers Dennis (Karen) Grace of Wisconsin and James (Nancy) Grace of Washington and many cousins. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
