Helene Wildeman

St. Joseph, MI – Helene Elsa Wildeman, 98, of St. Joseph, MI, went peacefully to be with her Lord at Jordan's Life Care Center in Bridgman, on Saturday, January 8, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MI. 269-556-9450. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials can be made to St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran. Helene was born on October 10, 1912 in Winfield, Canada to Michael and Christina (Stencil) Byers. She later married Walter Wildeman on April 26, 1930 in Benton Harbor, MI. She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran in Benton Harbor. She worked many years at Rimes and Hildebrand and Mi-Ladies Shop. Helene is survived by her children, Gerald (Barbara) Wildeman of Benton Harbor and Marjorie Pantelleria of Benton Harbor.. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, Gerald (June) Wildeman, John (Jo Anne) Wildeman, Mark (Melody) Wildeman, Linda (Chris) Phelan, Charles (Sharon) Wildeman, Michael Pantelleria, Stephan (Jessica) Pantelleria, Maria Jackson, Lisa (Bryan) Dodge, Victoria (David) Zurkowski, Timothy Pantelleria, thirty-four great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ronald Wildeman, grandson, Tom Pantelleria and son-in-law, Tom Pantelleria..
