William Wayne Davidson

William Wayne Davidson, 75, of St. Joseph, Michigan passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph. Wayne was born April 12, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Lonnie & Ida (McKeown) Davidson. He graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle WA and married his high school sweetheart, Ruth Myers. Wayne was a Technical Trainer for the Bell Systems until his retirement in 1984. He resided in Seattle WA, Columbus OH, Poteau OK and other locales at various times. In retirement he enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, and treasure hunting. Wayne is survived by his mother Ida Davidson of St. Joseph; four children Linda Davidson of Monroe WA, William “Bill” (Diane) Davidson of St. Joseph MI, Debi Davidson Lee of Rockford IL and Robert (Cheri) Davidson of Hilliard OH; seven grandchildren Jennifer (Mark) Hamilton, Christy Davidson, Katherine Nims, Kevin Nims, Samantha Davidson, Alexander Davidson, Sara Davidson; one great grandson Jacob Hamilton; Wayne was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Davidson and his former wife Ruth E. (Myers) Davidson. A private family service will be held in the Seattle area at a date to be determined.
