Charles D. Chuck Baugher

Charles (Chuck) D. Baugher, 78, of Crystal River, Florida, formerly of Benton Harbor, Michigan passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2010. Chuck graduated from St. Joseph High School and retired in 2002 from Modern Plastics in Coloma after 25 years. He was an avid deer hunter, bowler and trap shooter, winning many state trophies for his marksmanship. His remains have been cremated after donating his body to medical research. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2011 by his family. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Faulk), whom he married May 21, 1988. Also surviving are his three children; sons, Barry (Joyce) Baugher of Spotsylvania, VA, James Baugher of Florida, and daughter, Gayle (Kenneth) Bassett of Benton Harbor along with his grandchildren, Brian Baugher of VA, Heather Sewcyck, Kalamazoo, MI, and Matt Sewcyck of Hartford, MI; step-grandchildren Danny and Mary-Kate Brygider of Spotsylvania, VA and Corey Bassett, Woodland, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle (Keigley) and Dale, Sr.; his brothers, Dale Baugher, Jr. on June 21, 1988 and LeRoy Baugher on Dec. 29, 1988; and his second wife, Shirley (Baugher) Probst, formerly Schultz, on Jan. 12, 2007.
