Bruce's Obituary
Bruce Morgan, 58, of Watervliet, went to meet his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, while hunting in Huron, South Dakota.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Benton Harbor Church of Christ, 1495 E. Empire Ave., Benton Harbor with Holger Neubauer officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lakeshore Church of Christ, South Haven, c/o Starks & Menchinger. Bruce was born March 10, 1952 in Benton Harbor to Loyd & Dorothy (Pillow) Morgan. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1970. On May 13, 1972 he married the former Sandra Kay Gungler in Benton Harbor. Bruce got his start in plumbing, heating and air conditioning with Ideal Plumbing in Benton Harbor. From 1980 until 2006 he co-owned & operated Flagel & Morgan Plumbing & Heating. In August 2006, he closed his business & joined Lochinvar, Inc. where he was currently employed as District Sales Manager. Bruce was a member of the Lakeshore Church of Christ in South Haven, an instructor & lifetime member of the NRA, member & past president of Taildragger Flyers, Inc. & Berrien County Sportsman Club, and a former member of the Benton Harbor Lions Club.
Bruce is survived by his wife Sandra; his daughter Kristy (Austin) Moxley of Coloma; four grandchildren-Tyler & Mason Pennington, & Chase & Kaitlyn Moxley; his mother Dorothy Morgan of Watervliet; his brother Stanley (Saundra) Morgan of Benton Harbor; and friends & aquaintences too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his father Loyd on August 18, 1986, and his daughter Karri Morgan on May 7, 1981.
