Bernice's Obituary
E. Lansing, MI – Bernice Evelyn Wagner, 104, of E. Lansing, MI, formerly of St. Joseph, MI, died Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Ingham Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of her life is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. The burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family has requested that all memorial contributions be made to Berrien County Cancer Service, 7301 Red Arrow Hwy., Stevensville, MI 49127. Bernice was born on Christmas in 1905 in Chicago, IL to Magnus and Julia (Aronson) Lundgren. She married Ira Wagner on November 29, 1928 in Buchanan, MI.
She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy (Alvin) Boettcher of E. Lansing, MI and Nancy Jane Burandt of Ypsilanti, MI, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira, her parents, Magnus and Julia, and son-in-law, Robert Burandt.
