Eileen Ickes

St. Joseph, MI – Eileen May Ickes, 90, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at The Willows in St. Joseph. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI. The visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Eileen was born on February 19, 1920 in Benton Harbor, MI to Louis and Lillian (Jensen) Passig. She worked for many years for the Heath Company. Eileen is survived by her son, Douglas (Peggy) Ickes of Acworth, GA, grandchildren, Jeffrey Ickes, Lisa Ickes and Scott Ickes and great grandchildren, Victoria and Logan Dumolt. She was also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Genevieve Johnson. The family has requested that all memorial contributions be made to Hospice at Home or Humane Society.
