Eleanore Frances Havlicek

Eleanore Frances (Waszak) Havlicek, 95, of Bridgman, MI, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at her children's residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jim Morris officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. (CT) in Justice, Illinois on Monday at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Eleanore was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 1, 1915 as the fifth child of Joseph, Sr. and Martha (Suehor) Waszak. She married Arthur Frank Havlicek on October 10, 1945. She was a devoted wife to the Chicago Police Officer until his passing in 1968. She is survived and mourned by her son and his wife, Allan and Cherisse (Basile) Havlicek, her beloved grandchildren; Arthur and Alisse Havlicek, and her favorite nephew and godson Wayne Lacny. Eleanore joins her brothers, sister, and their spouses in Heaven; Helen (Charles) Streysman, Hank (Helen) Waszak, Clara Waszak, Joseph, Jr. (Marie) Waszak, Edward (Elizabeth) Waszak, Martha (Leonard) Lacny and their daughter, Marcia.
