Keith Lausman, 65, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 15, 2010 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may visit Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lakeshore Football Boosters or Lakeshore Soccer Boosters athletic Association in Loving memory of Keith Lausman. Keith was born July 28, 1945 in Benton Harbor to Robert & Irene (Schafer) Lausman. He Graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1963. On August 28, 1999 he married Joanne Tibbitts in St. Joseph. Keith worked as a tool and die maker for Hanson Mold and Weldon International. A professional life of the party and a loud and proud man, Keith loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his friends up north at his cabin. He was an avid University of Michigan Fan. As a member of SMCC, he owned a 1966 Plymouth Satellite. Keith was also one of the first certified officials for soccer in the area. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved family get-together's on Christmas Eve.
Keith was survived by his wife Joanne Lausman of St. Joseph; two sons Keith (Kelly) Lausman of Granger, IN and Mark (Samantha) Lausman of St. Joseph; granddaughter Blake Lausman and grandson Cody Lausman; two step-grandchildren Kalya Miller and Darian Yeager; two brothers Ken (Judy) Lausman of Benton Harbor and Bob (Rose) Lausman of Florida. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dennis.
