Brenda Sue Corzine

Brenda Sue Corzine, 58, of Benton Harbor, passed away Saturday, October 02, 2010 in the comfort of her home. A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 7:00PM Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Dean Pickett officiating. Private burial at Fort Custer National Cemetery will follow. Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Brenda was born August 20, 1952 in Benton Harbor to John & Juanita (Davis) Mauldin. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1976. Brenda was employed as a bartender, starting at the North Shore Inn, then to the DAV and finally the Stevensville American Legion. On May 29, 1994, Brenda married Bob Corzine in Benton Harbor. After the death of her daughter Dena, Brenda took pride in raising four grandchildren as her own; Jennifer, William, Jonathan and Angel. She was a member and Past Commander of both the DAV Auxilliary and the VFW Auxilliary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Brenda is survived by her Husband Bob; five children-Tera (Jesse) Carron of Harrisburg, AR., Heather Romhilt of Benton Harbor, L.J. Romhilt of Michigan City, IN., Dawn Corzine of Benton Harbor and Jeff (Tracy) Corzine of Bridgman; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sisters Alice (Len) Pieszak of Mt. Pleasant, PA., Pam Mauldin of Benton Harbor; many nieces & nephews; and a special friend Wilma Killips of Stevensville. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Shirley and Delores and her daughter, Dena Bishop.
