Jeanne Pavlick

Jeanne Pavlick, 86, of Sodus, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Jordan's Nursing Home in Bridgman. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Marlo Fritzke officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Those wishing to sign the memory book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Jeanne was born March 29, 1924 in St. Joseph, MI to Russell & Ione (Ramer) Geisler. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School. On June 16, 1942 she married John Pavlick Jr. in St. Joseph. Jeanne was the Manager of Goldblatt's Department Store in Benton Harbor. She resided for over forty years in Sodus Township where she spent many hours tending her yard and garden. She also loved crocheting and spending time with her family. Jeanne is survived by her two children, a son Jack Pavlick of Sodus, MI and a daughter Linda Kay (Kirby) Burson of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and sister Dorothy Hand of Hartford. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband of over 66 years, John Pavlick Jr. on December 3, 2008.
