Arlene's Obituary
Arlene Ruth Wolter, 81, of Stevensville, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph . A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Starks and Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Friends wishing to sign the family guestbook or to leave a message may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Hospice at Home or Scottdale United Methodist Church.
Arlene was born June 6, 1929 in St. Joseph, MI to Rudolph and Elizabeth (Abeln) Duschek. She married Marvin Wolter on July 26, 1952 in St. Joseph, MI.
Arlene is survived by her children, Denise (J.D.) Dorsey of Tipton, MO, Clifford (Michell) Wolter of Watervliet, MI, John (Brenda) Wolter of St. Clair Shores, MI and Sally (Pete Fardello) Wolter of Coloma, MI. She is also survived by her sisters, Alice Clem, Erma Hennes, Dorothy (Glenn) Schwolow, three brothers, Rudolph (Dorothy) Duschek, Raymond (Juanita) Duschek and Walter (Connie) Duschek and six grandchildren.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, parents, Rudolph and Elizabeth and three siblings, Jeannette Lynch, Bernard Duschek and Arthur Duschek.
