Aileen Nimtz

Aileen Ruth Nimtz Nee-Klukas, 90, of St Joseph, passed away Monday, July 4, 2010, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Friday July 9, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Main Street, St Joseph, MI 49085 on with Pastor Bazke Officiating. Burial will be take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may call Thursday July 8, 2010 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice at Home, Trinity Lutheran Church, and Berrien County Cancer Service. She was a great homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Joseph. Aileen was a very talented seamstress and loved working in her garden. She worked at Heath Company for 18 years, as quality control. Aileen is survived by her son-in-law Les and daughter Joanne LaMarre of St. Joseph, 4 nephews; Earl (Carol) Klukas, Barry (Melinda) Klukas, Robert (Rachel) Schmidt, Mark (Sara) Schmidt. Nieces Kathy Patzkowski, Elizabeth (Rodney) Richmond, Constance (Todd) Binsz, 4 great nephews, 4 great nieces In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband Walter Nimtz, brother Earl Klukas, Sr., niece Mary Klukas, nephew Gregory Schmidt, and Chuck the grand dog.
