Pauline Johnston

Polly Johnston, 87, of St. Joseph, went home to be with The Lord, June 3, 2010. She lived in the Twin Cities for 71 years. She met her husband, Evan “Johnny” Johnston while operating Polly’s Grill. They were married 61 years until his death in 2003. She loved the Lord her God, her family; daughter, Carol Lueck, husband Mark, grandson, Michael Lueck, wife Kristi, great grandchildren; Kristopher, Andrew, Rebekah, Maarja, and Aleksander, and she loved people! She had a beautiful smile, which she freely shared, and a song in her heart. She loved flowers, gardens, birds and butterflies', going for walks, and drives in the country.She loved food and simple, delicious home-cooking. She was a beautiful woman, of excellent character and integrity, a great attitude, faithful, honest, caring, with an excellent work standard for the various jobs she had done during her lifetime of which included cosmetologist and homemaker. She was a member of Peace Temple Methodist Church. She was at resident of The Whitcomb in St. Joseph, where a visitation will be held Thursday June 10, 2010 from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. in the afternoon.
