James C. Sink

James Clifton Sink, 58, of Benton Harbor, passed away at home on Thursday, May 27th 2010 from ongoing health complications. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Oakridge Baptist Church, 766 Oakridge Dr., St. Joseph Michigan with Pastor Nick Jackson officiating.. The arrangements are entrusted with Starks and Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to the family. He leaves behind his three loving children: Christopher Sink, Nathanial Sink, Jessica(Matthew) Johnson, and his beloved granddaughter, Kamryn Johnson. Brothers and sister: Gerald (Joy) Biggart, Duane Sink, and Nancy (Ron) Puleo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Martha Sink, his brother Daryl and sister in-law Karen. Jim loved Jesus Christ and all of his family and so many wonderful friends. He was known for his kindness and generosity. He could always be seen passing out Werthers candy and fun little gadgets to everyone he encountered. Music was his passion in life and he played in many different bands since his teenage years. He played rhythm and bass guitar and keyboard. Jim loved teaching young people how to play guitar. He had a positive attitude towards life and a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. We know he is at peace and no longer struggling with poor health.
