Dorothy E. Hoadley

Dorothy Hoadley, 86, of Baroda, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda with Pastor Marlo Fritzke officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home or Lakeland Hospice. Those wishing to sign the memory book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Dorothy was born March 20, 1024 in Lake Township, MI, to Paul & Minnie (Gaul) Bartel. On June 18, 1948 she married Robert Hoadley in Berrien Springs, MI. he preceded her in death on January, 23, 1999. Dorothy worked as a Housekeeper at Jordan's Nursing Home in Bridgman for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, birds, eating out, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Dorothy is survived by her six children Robert Hoadley of South Bend, IN, Ronald (Christy) Hoadley of Hillsboro, OH, Sandra (David) Ray of Baroda, Charles Hoadley of Sterling Heights, MI, Michael (Gretchen) Hoadley of Baroda, MI, and Susan (Bill) Williams of Buchanan, MI; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters Martha (Julius) Tilly Jr. of St. Joseph, and Frances Hartline of Bridgman. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert of 50 ?1/2 years of marriage, one grandchild, and three brothers William, Martin, and Frank Bartel.
