Bruce's Obituary

Bruce “Wolffie” Wolff, 45, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Gordon Barry officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Bruce was born July 15, 1964 in Benton Harbor to Eugene & Janet (Hunter) Wolff. He graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1983 and earned an associates degree in Automotive Technology from Ferris State University. Wolffie's life revolved around engines. At the age of eleven, he started working on lawnmower engines. This evolved into snowmobiles, motorcycles, and eventually cars. Wolffie owned and operated Pro Engines in Baroda where he rebuilt stock & high performance engines. There are many cars & boats in the surrounding area with his engines under the hood. In his spare time, Bruce enjoyed hunting, golfing, bowling and spending time with his family. Bruce is survived by two sons-Brice (Rebecca) Wolff of Eau Claire, Brad Wolff of Granger, IN; his parents Eugene & Janet Wolff of St. Joseph; two sisters-Barbara (Jim) Antonucci of Longmont, CO, Brook (Justin) Arney of Berrien Springs; his brother-Brian (Jill) Wolff of Indianapolis; his grandmother Margaret Bond of Fort Myers, FL; and five nieces & two nephews.
